About Paraza Pharma:
Paraza Pharma Inc. is an innovative research organization focused on small molecule drug discovery. In today’s competitive pharma/biotech environment, many established companies are slimming down their in-house research organizations and small start-ups often run in virtual mode with few, if any, laboratory staff. Paraza is emerging as a leader in providing integrated drug discovery expertise to organizations of any size, with many successfully completed projects and satisfied customers across the US and Canada.
Paraza was founded in 2011 and moved to the Technoparc a year later with 12 employees. The company currently has a staff of close to 90, about half located in its headquarters on Marie-Curie Avenue and half working out of the NeoMed Institute. A large group of skilled and creative synthetic organic chemists has expertise in both medicinal and process development, supported by computational and analytical chemists having years of experience and using state-of-the art equipment. The biology group consists of innovative and versatile biochemists, cell and and in vivo biologists. DMPK performs both standard and unconventional in vitro assays and in vivo PK studies, supported by a bioanalysis group allowing all work to be performed in-house. Together, Paraza scientists can form an integrated team to support small molecule drug discovery projects from conception through to clinical candidate identification.
