About NMX Research and Solutions:
NMX is a translational contract research organization that partners with it’s clients to enable and accelerate small-molecule drug discovery. In the past years we heavily invested in developing a unique approach in using NMR fragment-based screening for discovering hits and leads for future drugs. These investments led to the implementation of powerful tools and strategies, allowing us to conduct multiple experiments on small quantities of samples, thus reducing the costs associated to prolonged setup and analysis time as well as high protein consumption. To complement this, we also offer services for production and purification of proteins identified as disease target. Our unique set of expertise (NMR spectroscopy, biology and medicinal chemistry) gives NMX a unique edge in the current landscape of research and development in drug discovery.
About the Fondation Lucien-Piché:
The Fondation Lucien-Piché is a charitable non-profit registered organization which supports outstanding students in chemistry across the province of Quebec. Every year, the Foundation awards scholarships to the best finishing students enrolled in undergraduate chemistry programs. Since its creation in 1987, the Foundation has awarded more than 120 scholarships for a total of more than 100,000$.
